Free Hearing Tests

The First Step To Better Hearing

The first step is to book your free hearing test at your local National Hearing Care clinic. When you arrive for your appointment, one of our trained staff members will take you to a quiet screening room where you'll be played a series of sounds through a set of headphones. The test will run for 20 minutes, and all you have to do is press a button each time you hear a sound.

Based on the outcome of your test, it will be determined if you have a hearing loss or not. If you do, you will be recommended to return for a comprehensive hearing test with an Audiologist or Audiometrist. It's as simple as that.

Our Clinic Services

  • FREE hearing tests: Initial check takes a few minutes to let you know if you have a hearing loss or not.
  • Diagnostic assessments: Full detailed test for adults with a qualified Clinician to discover the exact nature and extent of your hearing loss.
  • Pre-employment hearing assessments: Audiological assessments as required by some employers.
  • Personalised hearing solution for all levels of hearing loss: We'll ask detailed questions about your personal listening situations to determine which hearing aids that are right for you.
  • Hearing aid fittings: Unlike some other hearing service providers, we aren't owned by a hearing aid manufacturer, so we are able to offer a variety of hearing aid brands.
  • Hearing aid repairs and maintenance: Come back in anytime for a quick check and clean. If your hearing aids aren't working properly, we can arrange for them to be repaired if necessary.
  • Batteries and spare parts: Contact your local clinic for any inquiries related to batteries or spare parts
  • Follow up consultations and adjustments: To make sure everything is going well and to fine tune your hearing aids if necessary.
  • Advice and access to hearing protection: We can provide custom made ear plugs for professionals working in noisy occupational environments.
  • National and Global Support: Have travel plans? Speak to us before you go away to find out how National Hearing Care and the Amplifon Group can support your hearing care while you are away.
