These terms and conditions set out some general terms and conditions that apply to all promotions (directly below), as well as terms and conditions which apply to each individual promotion. 

General terms and conditions:

  • To be eligible for these promotions, client payment of the hearing aids must be made at time of fitting
  • Hearing aids must be ordered between 1 July – 30 September 2020
  • Standard manufacturer warranty conditions apply to any hearing aids purchased
  • To the extent permitted by law, National Hearing Care/Amplifon can amend, vary, suspend or terminate these terms and conditions at any time
  • All offers are available in conjunction with Humm payment plans, Humm terms and conditions apply
  • Discount offers are not available with any other offer
  • The promotions are not available to National Hearing Care and Amplifon employees in combination with existing benefits

(1)  40% off selected hearing aids (APL ReSound & Sivantos only valid until 30 September 2020)

  • Offer is available on Amplifon Product Line powered by Sivantos and Amplifon Product Line powered by ReSound devices only. 
  • Offer is available for hearing aids purchased within the Smart to Excellence ranges only.
  • Clients who purchase the Excellence range will also receive a free additional charger or a years’ worth of batteries. The client will choose which add on they would like.
  • Hearing aids must be purchased by 30 September 2020
  • Discount offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer
  • Offer is available on monaural and binaural hearing aid purchases
  • Fully funded customers under the Hearing Services Program (HSP) are eligible for 40% offer if they choose to top-up (contribute an out of pocket amount) to the next level of technology from the Hearing Services funding. The 40% discount will be off the total price of the hearing aid and the customer will be required to pay the remainder of the invoice after the HSP funding has been applied. 

(2) Home visit appointments – available in most areas

  • Home Visit appointments may not be available in your suburb.
  • Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. 
  • Under no circumstances are National Hearing Care employees permitted to visit a client in their home/ nursing home/ hospital/ aged care facility unless the visit is requested by the client – or the client’s guardian/ power of attorney – in writing. 
  • Home Visit appointments are available for everyone 26 years and over who meet the health & safety criteria and subject to any government ban or restriction or visits which may apply, including, but not limited to, visits to aged care facilities. 
  • Home Visit appointment costs are to be paid in full the day before the Home Visit appointment. 
  • Home Visit appointments costs are as follows:
        o Private customers is $75 ($50 appointment & $25 travel)
        o DVA & OHS customer $25 (fully funded appointment)
        o DVA & OHS customers that have a Doctors Letter or reside in a nursing home there is no cost to the customer 
        o Work Cover customers will also receive this appointment at no cost to the customer  
  • Home Visit appointment fees are eligible to be used as a discount on any hearing aid purchase at National Hearing Care and Amplifon. The credit will remain on the clients record until used. 

(3)  Hearing device starting from $36 per month – with Humm Interest free payment plans

  • National Hearing Care and Amplifon is offering flexible interest free payment plans through Humm.

  • Humm eligibility criteria applies.
  • Hearing technology has never been more affordable starting from $36 per month. This price is based on the following:

            o   36-month interest free payment plan
            o   the following monaural hearing aid devices: Mirum 3 NANO RITE,     Mirum CIC X, Mirum CIC P from Bernafon; and
            o   the price of the hearing aid device is $1,000

  • $36 per month, includes the $8-month Humm fee applies, equating to $288 over the full term
  • Australian Hearing Services Program (HSP) fully funded and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) customers that choose to top-up (contribute an out of pocket) amount towards their hearing aids are eligible for the discount offer on client retail portion.
  • The hearing devices, Mirum 3 NANO RITE, Mirum CIC X, Mirum CIC P from Bernafon, are not eligible for any other discount offer.

(4) Hearing Test free of charge (screening)

  • National Hearing Care and Amplifon is offering free hearing tests to everyone 26 years and over.
  • This is a basic screening check to determine if hearing loss is present.
  • We may recommend an advanced hearing assessment which costs $50. Clients eligible for full or partial reimbursement under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program will be funded for this advanced hearing assessment appointment so there is no cost to the client. Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. 

(5) Advanced Hearing Assessment free of charge for selected clients:

  • National Hearing Care and Amplifon is offering free advanced hearing assessment for select customers.
  • To qualify, the client must have received a letter, call, email, flyer, partnership, radio or filled in your contact details on specific digital advertising from National Hearing Care/ Amplifon.
  • Free advanced hearing assessment must be booked by 30 September 2020.
  • The free assessment is valued at $50.
  • Clients eligible for full or partial reimbursement under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program will be funded the appointment so there is no cost to the client. Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • Customers must be 26 years and older to be eligible for this offer. 

(6)    30-day money-back guarantee:

  • Hearing aids may be exchanged for other products (of the same or lesser value), or may be returned for a refund, within 30 days of purchase.
  • National Hearing Care and Amplifon reserves the right to refuse to exchange or refund hearing aids where the hearing aid (including its parts) have not been returned or have been damaged or lost.
  • Any refund paid will be the amount paid by the client only, which will not include any discounts or funders' contributions (e.g. Australian Government Hearing Services Program Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Work Cover or Insurance contributions).

(7) Fully funded hearing aids with the Australian Government Hearing Services Program

  • National Hearing Care and Amplifon will check your eligibility for fully funded hearing aids and services through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).
  • Eligibility criteria applies.
  • Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • National Hearing Care & Amplifon always offer a fully funded hearing aid solution under the HSP funded hearing aids.
  • National Hearing Care & Amplifon may demonstrate upgraded technology for the client to consider which may be better suited to the client’s individual lifestyle and listening needs.
  • HSP clients can purchase a maintenance plan which will not exceed $50.40 - this will cover the cost of batteries, ear-mould renewals, repairs, ear-hook replacements, adjustments & re-programming (if required), replacement of tubing, wax guards and cords of the hearing aids. Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

(8) Maintenance – at no cost to you

  • To qualify, the client must have received a letter and/or call from National Hearing Care & Amplifon with the details of this offer.
  • To qualify, the customer must become or must be a National Hearing Care or Amplifon customer.
  • Offer applies only to those eligible for the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • National Hearing Care & Amplifon will waive the out of pocket amount for a maintenance plan that the client would be required to pay.
  • The maintenance will be renewed for 12 months from the month the maintenance voucher expires and the client must sign the appropriate documentation to activate this offer.

(9) Help a friend stay connected 

  • $10 e-voucher is redeemable when referred friend completes a free hearing test and presents voucher in clinic. 
  • You and your friend must provide an email address to be eligible for the e-voucher. 
  • Referred friend must be new to Amplifon or National Hearing Care and over the age of 26.
  • The e-voucher cannot be redeemable for cash and will be emailed to each person within 10 days of the referred friend’s appointment. 
  • Usage of the e-voucher at participating merchants only.

(10) Smile Rewards

For Existing Customers:

  • Gifts will be available for pick up from your local Amplifon store within 10 working days from gift selection.
  • Amplifon reserves the right to change the rewards without notice or end the program without notification.

  • Discount not available in conjunction with other accessories discount.

(11) Free gift with screening appointment 

  • To qualify, the client must have received an email from National Hearing Care & Amplifon with the details of this offer. 
  • To qualify, the customer must have booked their screening appointment online via the National Hearing Care website. 
  • For the purpose of this campaign, the term ‘gift’ refers to Amplifon branded thermal drinking flask 
  • Gift to be issued to client on completion of their screening appointment
